Backlink

Also called: Inbound Link

A backlink is a hyperlink from an external website that points to a page on your website. In search engine algorithms, backlinks serve as votes of confidence and trust; websites with high-quality, relevant backlinks are viewed as authoritative and tend to rank higher.

Tip from Sanoop: Focus on quality, not quantity. One link from an authoritative, trusted Kerala news platform or industry site is worth more than 100 links from low-quality, automated bookmarking websites.
