Domain Authority

Also called: Website Authority

Domain Authority is a search engine ranking score (developed by Moz, but used conceptually in SEO) that predicts how likely a website is to rank in search engine results. It is calculated based on backlink profile strength, link root domains, and trust signals.

Tip from Sanoop: Do not treat Domain Authority as an official Google metric. Google uses its own internal PageRank and topical authority systems. Focus on building real traffic and relevant niche authority instead.
